Jobs Overview

Jobs in brix are records in ServiceM8 or AroFlo linked to a quote request. When a quote is approved and work is ready to be scheduled, you or your admin links the request to a job in your field-service system. The two integrations handle this differently:

  • ServiceM8 uses a dedicated Linked ServiceM8 Jobs section on the quote request. You can create a new ServiceM8 job directly from brix or link an existing one.
  • AroFlo uses the Ref Number field on the quote request. Enter the AroFlo job reference number directly — brix uses it to sync notes, documents, and status back from AroFlo.

Linked jobs appear on the quote request detail page. Open a quote request from QuotesRequests and look for the Linked ServiceM8 Jobs section (ServiceM8 workspaces) or the Ref Number field in the request header (AroFlo workspaces). Both features appear only if your workspace has the relevant integration enabled.

Once a job is linked, your team works in ServiceM8 or AroFlo as usual. Changes to the job status in ServiceM8 are reflected in brix. See Job Statuses for what each status means.
