Equipments

Equipments in brix are specific units or machines you can add to a quote alongside services and materials — for example a particular AC model, a generator, or other items that have their own description, price, or pricing rule. Adding equipment to a quote might add a line with a fixed price or a calculated value.

Your admin configures what counts as equipment and how it affects quote totals. The exact behaviour can vary by business unit.

In the sidebar, look under Services and Pricing (or similar) for Equipments. You’ll see a list of equipment items available to add to quotes. Open one to see description, price, and any rules.

When building a quote:

  1. Open the quote request and go to the quote builder (add/edit lines).
  2. Look for Add equipment or an equipment selector (sometimes under a “Equipment” or “Items” section).
  3. Choose the equipment from the list. The system adds a line with the configured price or rule; you may be able to adjust quantity or notes.
  4. Save. The line appears in the quote summary and affects the total.
